After my Fiancé proposed, and my migraine subsided – We went to Debenhams and picked up 3 things from the Kat Von D Stand and this was one of them.

The Shade+Light Glimmer Palette. This palette will come to Scandinavia very soon but I just couldn’t NOT get it while I had it infront of me!
/Efter min kille friade och min migrän försvann så gick vi till Debenhamns och köpte lite från Kat Von D. Shade+Light Glimmer Palette kommer snart till Sverige men jag kunde inte hålla mig!

This palette is beautiful and filled with 12 beautiful shimmery shades.
Paletten håller 12 shimmer skuggor!

Packaging

Let’s talk packaging first since I am a sucker for pretty packaging! This one is just like the other Shade+Light palettes but it has a reflective holographic gold texting to it.
/Ska vi prata lite om förpackningen? Jag älskar denna – även om den ser ut som de andra Shade Light paletter denna har lite holografiska detaljer.

On the top is the name and again, the holographic gold.
/Översta sidan har namnet och även finns i holo-guld.

The palette is similar to the newer refill palettes from the Shade+Light series. It has the embossed name and it is more plastic-y. Not a HUGE fan of the newer packaging but I prefer the cardboard palettes over plastic ones.
/Paletten är ganska lik nya refill paletten från Shade Light serien. Namnet sticker ut lite och känns mer plast aktig. Jag gillar inte plasten då jag gillar mina cardboard paletter – lättare att resa med och väger inte lika mycket.

The Embossing

The Inside

This is the inside and a closer look at the colors. Just as the other palettes, this one is also divided into 3 sections: Cool, Neutral and Warm tones.
/Insidan ser ni har 3 delar, återigen som de andra Shade Light paletter. Det finns cool, neutral och warm toner.

And the names on the back of the palette with the colors. The palette unfortunately does not have the colored back but just silver frames.
/Och här ser ni namnet på alla skuggor. Tyvärr så färg finns endast på yttre förpackningen. På själva paletten så är det bara svart och silver.

My Overall Impression

I do love this palette but not as much as the original Shade+Light Eye Contour Palette (all mattes). I did notice a bit of fall out especially with the lighter shades but not so much that I was bothered by it. They were easy to blend and just a beautiful range of neutral shades with the shimmer finish. With that said, the combination of the two palettes do make a great duo and you have many options to different looks for all occasions.
/Jag gillar paletten men inte lika mycket som originalen som innehåller bara matta nyanserna. Jag kände att skuggorna blev lite dammig men jag var inte heeellltt störd över det. Skuggorna är lätt att sudda med och nyanserna är super användbar. Jag gillar att kombinera både paletterna och kommer nog göra massa olika looker med de.
