I decided it was time to try a new skincare routine with the weather change so this came perfectly in time!

A previous coworker has started working with Elixir Cosmecuticals and I had the privilege to try a full on routine for my skin from the brand since I bumped into them at the Hud & Kosmetikmässan.

The brand is created by Norwegian Dermatologists and is about the fact that your skincare should work on skin conditions and not on skin types. This is something that rings so true for me as I have had dramatic changes in my skin and i just want something to work for ME and not my skin type in general. In addition this brand is a cosmeceutical brand i which they combine cosmetic skincare with pharmaceutical ingredients which means the products are given only at selected clinics and where staff are able to give the correct products.

Detta är någonting som stämmer bra med mig då jag har haft dramatiska förändringar i min hud och jag vill bara något att arbeta för mig och inte min hudtyp i allmänhet. Dessutom denna märke är en cosmeceutical varumärke där de kombinerar kosmetisk hudvård med Pharmaceutical Ingredients vilket innebär att produkterna ges endast på utvalda kliniker och där personalen kan ge rätt produkter. Då börjar jag visa min ny hudvårdsrutin och ska börja med det jag använder 1 gång/vecka: Elixir Pads 10%

Shall we take a look into my new routine then? Starting off with the once a week treatment: Elixir Pads 10%.

This treatment comes in 5%, 10%, 15% and even 20% but 10% is just right for a new routine.

So what does it do? It peels your skin for tone, texture and appearance. It has AHA & BHA to remove dead skin cells and fights enlarged pores and blackheads. The pads are super thin and you get good absorption of the liquid into them!
Vad gör den? Ja, den peelar huden för att ge bra complexion. Den innehåller AHA & BHA för att ta bort döda hudceller och även hjälper emot stora porer och blackheads. Jag gillar hur tunn padsen är och den tar in mycket produkt så det fungerar bra!

Next is the Smoothing Cream 10% which I also use 1-2 times per week. This one also comes in 10%, 15% or 20% but again 10% is a good place to start with a new routine. The great thing abou this cream is that it is a moisturizer that has glycolic acid for exfoliation but also for moisture. The combination of the pads and this smoothing cream gives my skin the extra stimulation to leave my skin smooth and fresh but also boosts collagen production!

Nästa produkt använder jag också 1-2ggr per vecka och är Smoothing Cream 10%. Denna också kommer i 10%, 15% och 20% men jag börjar med 10%. Jag älskar att denna kräm innehåller glykolsyra som är bra för exfoliering men också fukt. I kombination med padsen så jobbar denna på att stimulera huden för att producera kollagen och även lämnar huden friskt och len!

 

What routine would not have a cleanser? This Gentle Cleanser is basic: it removes oils, makeup and dirt. It has ingredients such as green tea and papaya too!
Självklart ska man ha en cleanser! Gentle Cleanser är enkelt och tar bort smuts, oljor och smink. Den innehåller grönte och även papaya!
