Just thought I’d do a quick post before we head off to Greece and we decided on a week on the beautiful island of Rhodes! We were planning Santorini, and even Athens but we found a good deal on a hotel and flights so we couldn’t pass it up! Though I do love the beach and the warmth of sun, I am not one to just lay around so Rhodes has a bit to offer over beautiful beaches too!
Jag tänkte att uppdatera innan vi åker iväg till Grekland och vi bestämde oss att vara på Rhodos i en vecka. Vi tänkte först Santorini och även Aten men vi hittade en fantastisk deal på hotel och flyg så vi bestämde oss för det istället. Även om jag älskar strand och värme, jag har svårt att sitta still så Rhodos har mycket annat än bara vackra strander!

Did you know that the nickname of Rhodes is “The island of the knights”? This is because the island was once conquered by the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem. In addition to this, the old town in Rhodes is a world heritage site and the Colossus of Rhodes is one of the ancient wonders of the world.
Visste ni att Rhodos är känd också som “the island of the knights”? Detta är pga att ön var dominerad av Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem! Även gamla stan i Rhodos är en world heritage site och det är där Colossus av Rhodos fanns som är känd som en av forntida underverk i världen.
As you can imagine, I am super excited to hang out on this island for the next week. I will try my best to document as much as I can while I’m there. Let me know if you’ve got any tips if you’ve been!
