I have liked The Balm Cosmetics since they released the Nude’tude palette a number of years back. I have tried MaryLou Manizer but wasn’t all that WOWed… Since working at Sephora we get the “Do you have The Balm” or “Do you have Mary-Lou Manizer” basically every other customer.

So i decided it was time for me to get a hold of the highlighter again and give it another shot to see what the hype is all about… I actually found that GrandParfymeri has a mini The Balm stand and I saw that they sold The Manizer Sisters Luminizing Palette (369kr).
Såå… Jag tog på mig att söka upp highlightern igen och testa en gång till och se varför alla hypar produkten nu… Jag hittade en mini TheBalm hylla där jag hittade The Manizer Sisters Luminizing Palett (369kr).

The palette is a small, travelfriendly palette with the 3 highlighters: Mary-Lou manizer, Cindy-Lou manizer & Betty-Lou manizer.
Paletten är liten, resevänlig och har alla 3 populära highlighters: Mary-Lou manizer, Cindy-Lou manizer & betty-Lou manizer.

The product seems to match the mary-lou manizer I had a few years back and so I can say that they are creamy, soft and easy to apply. I did notice that Cindy-Lou manizer was more dusty in comparison to the other two though.
Produkten verkar matcha min gamla mary-lou manizer jag hade några år tillbaka så jag kan säga de här är krämig, mjuk och lätt att applicera. Jag märkte dock att Cindy-Lou manizer var mer dammigt i jämförelse med de andra två…

I felt that the palette was a tad bit more expensive but possibly worth it if you’d like to try them all at once.
Jag känner att paletten är lite mer dyrare men det kanske är värt det om du vill testa alla samtidigt.

So what about the hype? Are these highlighters worth the hype?
I feel that there are a number of highlighters that are quite similar in color and probably at a better price point. The packaging is cute, (especially with this trio palette) and the product (all three highlighters) are good for any skintype. The pigmentation and consistency is very good and the product is easy to apply.
Så… hypen då? Är de här highlighter värt hypen?
Jag känner att det finns några andra highlighters i marknaden som är ganska lik och kanske på ett bättre pris. Förpackningen är fin (särskilt paletten) och produkten (alla 3 highlighters) är bra för alla hudtyper. Pigmentationen och känslan av produkten är bra och enkel att applicera.
